Ammo and clips are a pain to locate.
There are several sellers on the eBay offering clips...they're averaging around $15 a piece.

Re: How can you buy milsurp in today's market?

Those little Truppe Special Carcano carbines that have been floating around for the last couple months keep tempting me. So far I've been able to resist by thinking about not wanting to add another caliber....and by stroking my Ishy Bastard Scout. https://www.budsgunshop.com/images/hiRes/411...

Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

I'm thinking of getting a bayonet for my AR, but mine is a 16 inch barrel carbine and everything I'm finding is designed for 20 inch barrel rifles. I know there's adapters, but everywhere I check is either sold out or backordered by months. Ah well, it's not really necessary, just something I thoug...

This ammo shortage must be hitting folks harder than I thought..... TFB - The Bayonet Mount from Geissele Automatics If you have five Picatinny rail sections left Geissele Automatics now has a solution for you, called the “Super Stabby Bayonet Mount“, or SSBM for short – the name gives an idea of h...

It might be fun to see them bring out one using the 336 action, but a Mare's Leg in .30-30 might kick a bit and be too heavy. Just do like Steve McQueen....carry a .44-40 Mare's Leg, but stuff the belt cartridge loops with .45-70's for intimidation factor. :clownshoes: https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9s...

Re: Firearms CHAT: [insert chat title here]

I picked this lil' feller up a couple weeks ago, but have been pulling hurricane duty since then....a Lipsey's SP101 with 3" barrel, adjustable sights, and partial barrel shroud. Yeah, it was a bit of an impulse buy. I'll probably install a Wolff spring kit and a set of Crimson Trace grips on it and...

Looks like we are down to a little less than 200 remaining accounts that are still out.

Our out-of-state crews are starting to make their way back home to Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Re: 2020 Hurricane Season

Sally curb-stomped us pretty good. I'd say, as far as damage to the powerlines goes, she was twice as bad as Ivan back in '04....even though Ivan was a stronger storm. Sally's agonizingly slow approach and rainfall saturated the ground pretty good, and trees went down everywhere. Our engineers say ...
