Falcon? I was up that way no less than 6 months ago. Lemme know if you find a set of oakley gloves, i left a pair there. Falcon is where we would go for our refits about every month or so. Do they still have the massage place outside of the PX? We left just as they got done building the Pizza...

Re: Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight

i would look at Vortex or Burris for a mid-level RDS or spend a little more money and get a used Aimpoint M2 I guess i should have just asked about suggestions on a mid-level rds now that i think about it. I really only have experience with what uncle sam provided me prior to me switching over to a...

Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this sight. I've been looking online but havent really found any real reviews on it. Mainly I wanna know how durable it is and if its worth buying.

Re: What emergency stretcher would you suggest?

Im a big fan of SKEDs myself. I dont know what one of those costs on the civillian market though. I cant imagine it being cheap. However, they are just about the fastest way you can move a patient on a litter and if done right its hands free. Attach it to the back of two guys belts by the straps and...

Re: It's official, leaving for BCT on the 25th

To tell you the truth, basic has been watered down so much and so much power has been taken from the Drill Seargents that it seems like they are just pushing people through it. The quality of new joe's we have been receiving at our unit really reflects on it. I cant even count how many of them are a...

Re: Eagle Armor Carrier w/ pics

I also realize that the argument of "This isnt something you can afford to be cheap on" may apply, but I look at armor as an optional item anyway, it's no replacement for being either behind cover, or more importantly, staying out of harms way to begin with. That said, the armor I can afford to buy...

Re: Sweep Teams

Properly clearing a building or even a room for that matter is a true skill. It's not just kicking in a door and running in with a gun. A group of untrained civilians are likely to get shot attempting it by some dude sitting in a corner with a shotgun. Either way, the minimum number of men needed is...

I'll leave the "real life" answers for you guys and i'll skip right into fantasy land... mark-19's for all lol Honestly, the firearms i own are only enough for me and my wife to be well armed. However, if i knew i had to provide other members with something that goes boom i'd just pick up some mosin...

Re: Preparing yourself for panic/desperation/unrest.

My job revolves around large scale violence and preparing for it. What i prefer to do is prepare my wife for violence. Whether it be by teaching her to shoot, having her read the ranger handbook, GFT, or taking her on runs till she wants to stab me just to name a few. Some of us are already well pre...

I guess i never really gave it any thought but having one to get around SBR laws makes perfect sense. Thx all for enlightening me on the reasoning.
