Re: JTS12 Vs Cheetah 12

Just a thought for the OP, why not an AR12? You said you know the AR style, why not check it out? I have never shot one, and I've seen mixed reviews especially with the early models that the gas system was garbage. But I've read a few reviews that say its been fix and shoots great. Just a thought, ...

Re: JTS12 Vs Cheetah 12

That's a nice little family! Wish I had picked up a Saiga when they were cheap. Now I'm trying to fill that particular hole in my life. Was hoping that the import ban may be struck down.......but don't think its going to happen, or the Hearing Protection act, with all the high profile shootings occu...

Can you inject Brine solution into a deep fried turkey?

Going to try to brine a Turkey this year. Got a good recipe. Can you inject the brine solution before frying without blowing yourself up?

emclean....have you had your hands on any other of the Ak style shotguns? How does the G12 feel? I'll admit, an AR manual of arms would be more familiar

Re: JTS12 Vs Cheetah 12

I'll check out the G12, thanks. It wasn't on my radar. The 1919 just felt like a cheap toy when I ran it. Although its the only one I've had the opportunity to shoot. To clarify, I am aware of the problems plaguing Mag fed shotguns....and as soon as I purchase one, the plan is to tear it down, and s...

JTS12 Vs Cheetah 12

1st off. Glad to be back! Haven't been here in along time, like 2-3 years. I'm looking at a mag fed shotgun. My budget doesn't include the Saiga or Vepr. So after looking at all the budget options (Bora 99, MKA 1919, Catamount), I think I'm going to purchase one of these. Academy Sports offers the J...

Re: My new range toy love affair.... is a HiPoint??

That's just finally were I got to the point with it. If I was striking out on foot, on a 1,000 mile journey through wastlands infested with zombies waving around sharpened dildos, to throw the ring of power into the fires of mount doom, then no, the Hi-point is not my sidearm of choice. But to ride ...

Sort of off topic, but I've just put a really banging set of wood grips on my Security-Six(took off the Houges), and have been thinking hard about the whole western gunbelt.......wonder where I can find one reasonable?

I've always been pleased with my JHP 45 I purchased when I turned 21......did not come from a firearm family, 2 babies and a new wife, felt like I needed something to defend my home......LC9's and Keltecs werent really around then(Keltec maybe just coming on the scene)....have since moved on to bigg...

Re: Combo Weapons?

Ok so in most situations picking one weapon or another might not work sure a baseball bat is long but it dosn't have a chance to take off any limbs and a butchers knife is good for cutting but do you want to be that close to a zombie? No, so you grab some duct tape 4 butchers knives and a baseball ...
