Boresnake and CLP alone are great for field expedient cleaning but not so much for long term. Toothbrush is needed when cleaning the BCG and other parts. Pipe cleaners are needed for cleaning the gas system. Eventually brass brushes and cleaning rods will be necessary. ETC... There are thousands or ...

Re: Firearms Issue
I had a situation similar a few years ago in another locale. I have found that when it comes to this issue, most of the general "non-gun owner" pub...

Re: Mock Bug Out: Now considered not a fail
I may have forgotten to mention earlier but others have so I will just repeat, Kudos for trying it out and learning. Unfortunately many people go out and buy gear, never try it out, and expect it to work as advertised. IMO, one can only truly understand the strengths and weaknesses of their gear and...

Re: The Best Defense Survival
this show looks pretty cool... are the episodes available online? i don't get the outdoor channel where i live I haven't seen it online myself. If someone knows about it online I would be interested in the web addy. This season seems to have a bunch of practical info rather than just fictional drama.

Re: Question about guns rusting.
Certain packs are able to be baked and then reused. This is not the standard across the board though so be careful about doing it. Like everyone else said, stay away from keeping the weapons stored in bags. I am sure that several of us on here have our own lessons learned story about that. It is bes...

I don't know. A BMF TV would have a happy home here. I guess it would be on a case by case basis. Most of the time though, it would be a place where village idiots and those who would be affiliated with Darwin would hang out.
