Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!

I had one with the 6 inch barrel which i liked but i thought i wanted a shorter barrel. Sold it off and got one with the 4 inch barrel. I liked the 6 inch barrel better. for range use, the 4 inch can carry easier for me.

Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!

Well hell i was doing gun porn and my Stream Light TLR-1's looked weird. The hing broke, it still worked when held together by the trigger guard. It was on a Sig P229.

Re: Tools that could fit into pen slots?

For a flash light i would just get a Streamlight Nano clipped the zipper pull string. Do you wear glasses? If so a eye glass repair kit with screw driver and screws. A 6 inch ruler made of metal may be nice. I have a 12 inch copper one i cut into a letter opener/knife like thing. Then the pens,marke...

Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!

I dont like carrying the P229 unless its a full battle belt. I have not found a MK25 mag to check if it works in the M11A1 thats what im told works in them by guys at a gun store. So I know im going with a Mk25 but for a smaller framed carry type gun id want the M11A1 instead of the 229? As so im to...

Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!

Numbersi have a M11-A1 and a p229 Elite. I like the SRT and the Sig lite night sights and will recommend them both. Yes i did use the rear sight to rock the slide with my belt for funssies :clownshoes: . P228 and P229 are different size like compact and sub compact i guess though the P229 is like a ...

Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!

Well, I now own a Glock. Picked up my Gen 4 G21 at the local hardware store on Friday and I'm hoping to get out to the range soon so I can shoot it. I'm just hoping it doesn't jam on me every fifth shot like my 1911 did on my last range trip. Dont limp wrist it and it wont . Not sure if the G21 are...

Re: Fun with Paracord! (or) Misadventures with Paracord!

Well not a post to show anything just a question.

Has anyone ever did a truck steering wheel wrap with para cord? What would the best style of wrap be? Will a 300 foot roll be enough? I got another Chevy Silverado with a slick wheel and need some grip.

Re: Can I count on paracord?

Para cord is not climbing/rappelling rope. Now i have tied a length to a safety harness and hung by para cord in a controlled setting. I was 4 inch's off the ground. I do not trust it for climbing.

He asked me to tell him what way to turn the knob to adjust it up because he forgot his reading glasses :? So on my way out i asked if he got it ...

Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!

Didn't Nimdabew have all kinds of problems with a Gen 4 G19? IIRC, he threw all kinds of Apex and other aftermarket parts at it, but still ended-up having to send it back to Glock. He did have problems with a Glock I forget which model and Gen. He did do some tinkering to it to make it work and sen...

Re: Firearms Chat Part 2: Bullpups cause all the rage!

And since im reminded of yet another incident at the range. Okso there is a indoor range like 15 min from the house. I go there with handguns but 25 yards is not worth rifle time. There have been a few time i get there and get a lane next to some dude and a female. Dud is all alpha and says stuff li...
