Re: How full is YOUR magazine?

I have one pistol that with a full magazine I would have to seat the magazine with more force then I would like to on a slide forward reload, so I keep 1 less in them and no issues

The rest are loaded to the mechanical capacity of the magazine.

Re: Help Me Pick a New 9mm

my new personal favorite is the Sig P226 SAO. All the goodness of the P226 but in a SAO package, magazines are inexpensive (Mec-Gar) nice consistent trigger pull and quite accurate out of the box. Depending on your dress and body type, I have no issues carrying in a SuperTuck at about the 5:30 posit...

...As for me, my next big purchase (or if we move this summer, one of the first things going in to our new house before the walls are all in) is the biggest Pendleton safe I can afford: http://www.pendletonsafes.com/about/under-the-hood/ Yes, there are others out there, maybe even better for the mo...

Re: Scope for a Ar-15

What's the intended use? . Just ringing steel from about 100 - 300 yards, not really intended for anything serious. If you're after more of a plinker or varminter, there are plenty of other options. Leupold has the ultralight line if you're worried about weight, Burris has a handful of good offerin...

Scope for a Ar-15

Well since the USMC is going to phase out iron sights and my eyes aging I am looking for a good performer with a good value to price to perch on an a AR. What the opinion on Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 Riflescope with BDC for an intermediate range scope and maybe getting a railed gas block to replace the ...

Concealment holster for working out

So does anyone have any first hand experience with a holster or carry method, preferably not off body, that works well for a Glock 30 sized handgun while working out at the gym? By working out I mean cardio, weight training a full regular workout. Wondering if a fanny pack may be more acceptable at ...

Re: Truck gun. Shotgun or rifle

Well I went with a Marlin 30-30 lever action for a couple of reasons, one was price, got it for about $165. It's the youth model so a bit shorter making it simpler to store. It's accurate, it can be perceived as less menacing and kind of fun to shoot. Per Doc's suggestion I already have the stuff he...

Truck gun. Shotgun or rifle

With the Paris attacks and my feelings that the same type of thing is all but inevitable in the US, I think I would like to have a dedicated truck gun. So I am debating shotgun vs rifle Vehicle carry of firearms in any configuration or interior location is legal, the few locations that it is not leg...

Re: Blessed weapons- guns only or ammunition too?

Having a trunk full of melee weapons and firearms blessed with a quick wave of a hand would be very economical but it might be trickier to get a priest to bless every single bullet. Lastly, ya'all figure if I donated some monies to a church one of their priests would actually do this or would they ...

IMO Don't get fixated on groups, take that target and put it over your chest and look in the mirror.

What he's not telling everyone is that the container held the new "Green" water, they remove to O portion so it's only H and you know how light H is.

When you want some to drink you just let a little O back in and instant water.

Yep and if they say drop it...drop it....modern firearms shouldn't go off when dropped, it will probably hurt you more hearing the sound of it hitting the ground than it will hurt the gun.

Its gotten to the point where some of these goofballs consider a ferro rod as a primary and ONLY fire...
