Re: Thoughts on non-gun z-day weapons

If it came down to that, and "remove the head or destroy the brain" rules apply I'd say an axe would be my first choice. With a nice long handle. Swords are cool and all but I don't really know enough about them, it's hard to find usable ones, and historically speaking, a swordfight would usually le...

I always have quite a few of these laying around...they're the reason I still haven't bought a "real" stove.

Re: Bug Out Food at the supermarket

If you guys want a cheap (I'd say free, but it's not really) way to get some honey to pack along, go to Chick-Fil-A. They have little packets of honey that you can get...usually they don't have it at the condiment bar, you have to ask up front for it but they have it. I always ask for honey packets ...

Re: Can someone ID the firearm in this pic?

Every time I've been to a clay shooting place, like 90% of the guys there stand around with muzzles on toes. Nobody ever had a ND that way though so I don't get butthurt about it. It always seemed to me like a dumb as shit way to handle a weapon, saftey issues aside, so when I'm standing around wait...

Re: Your worst knife

I guess a "fighting" knife with an edge you feel comfortable rubbing all over yourself for hygiene purposes is about the least intimidating knife I can think of. The edge is for rubbing all over yourself. The point goes in the other man. But yes, even so, it's not very intimidating. Intimidating in...

I don't see a problem with neck knives for utility...terrible idea for a defensive blade though.

Machetes and folding saws are not expensive, nor are they ever typically very heavy.

I see no tapco products, nor any $50 hunting scopes from walmart. Therefore I don't see a problem. Looks like a great shooter.

I used one once and I liked it.

You have to realize that it's a kitchen knife, not an all-around utility knife...It's made for (and GREAT at) slicing up meat and vegetables and that's about it.

Re: Your worst knife

$8 Winchester folder from walmart...shitty lock responsible for many sliced knuckles, steel wouldn't hold an edge for 5 minutes, rubberized coating on the handle always flaking off everywhere. Terrible knife.
