Re: Red Jacket vs High Tower Armory Bullpup Stock (.22)

Who ever receives their stock first, please post so the rest of us can start hounding the UPS guy! ZING~ You're right!! See how tweaked off I am over it :vmad: I emailed in both instances, I actually sent a follow up email last year over the galil build but never heard back and still haven't. FFS I...

Re: Red Jacket vs High Tower Armory Bullpup Stock (.22)

Did you try calling them at 1-800951-1319? No I didn't, I'm not going to chase someone down and force them to take my money. That's the only phone number you can reach them at. You either call the right number, or you don't get in touch with them... I'm not sure what your complaint is, if you didn'...

Re: Red Jacket vs High Tower Armory Bullpup Stock (.22)

This guy doubts he will ever purchase anything affiliated with Red Jacket. I tried to contact them last year to have a Saiga 5.45 Galil clone built and never received a response. I took it in stride and figured they were getting slammed due to the show and blew it off. I tried to contact them about ...

Re: how large of a pack do you think is needed?

It's a good thing to have a little extra room that you reserve for foraging or last minute additional supplies but keep that space in reserve unless you NEED it. I'm much like Jeriah (but better looking  ) I can carry a big heavy pack except I don't like to. I prefer to keep my packs under 30lb...

Re: how large of a pack do you think is needed?

I think it's more the area you're in and evolving your gear. Currently I am running a smaller lighter pack with a minimal gear belt and have an "evac pack" with clothes, addtional food, fak and heavier sleeping gear. I can get by with my small pack for a few days but if I have to hoof everything out...

Re: Double barrel for first shotgun?

Hachiman: That's what I'm talking about. It would be good for training and plinking. I liked the thought of the .410 option, and a reason to reload 9mm brass if I wanted to. You can't cycle them, but still it'll fire. Anyway, I've decided to go with a pump. See, here's the thing i stupidly forgot w...

Congrats on the new home, fence looks good will you be putting a dog in the backyard? The undeveloped land behind you is a definite perk but also a security risk as you cannot see people approaching unless you're upstairs.

Re: Outdoor Water Storage

In an apt I think I would try to incorporate them into my living area by building "boxes" for them. Plant on top, printer stand etc etc. If you're handy (or know someone who is) you could also have window boxes for sitting or a coffee table with canned goods or 2-liter bottles inside them.

Re: .22 as the best ammo vs. zombies?

The wonderful and almost mandatory .22 rifle, it's a tool to have available. Would I want it to be my only firearm? No, absolutely not. Could I make it work if that was all I had, yes I could but tactics have to be revised and you have to turn the cautious knob up to 11. I have seen .22 lr mini-mags...

Re: Compact Sleeping System

I will second the MSS Bivy, I have a Sea to Summit Thermolite Reactor Extreme Mummy Bag Liner that I use inside mine when the temps are low enough. I have also slept in the Bivy without it. Another option to line the bivy with is the SOL Escape Bivy but I have not tried one yet. I know there was a w...

Re: Chest rig for SKS duck bill magazines

I'm actually liking this now that you bumped the thread, considering the SKS and M1 Carbine are two of the platforms I'm likely to have once I'm in my own place (apartment bans weapons, even though I can afford them now). My only question is will there be a MOLLE compatible pouch to mount TAPCO and...

I'm going to necro this thread to mention BOOBS and chest rigs. Might be a good idea to consolidate all of your sales onto one thread to maximize looks and to keep from having 3 threads push everyone else further down the page when you bump yours to the top. http://zombiehunters.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=98762" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ...
