Re: What is the best topical anesthetic

...I'm incredibly tempted to try this. I probably won't, just in case you're, like, a precocious twelve-year-old intent on killing me (or, more likely, in case I fuck something up- I have no idea what the proper dosing of Lidocaine is, and, you know, math. Also, I assume that injecting children's s...

Re: RUST!

I've never had a rust gun before, and it is depressing. It feels like my AR has cancer. :(

Whining aside, there is a lot of good info here... how about removing rust if it is worse than surface rust (mine came off with some solvent and a rag, and I've never had to deal with anything worse)?

RUST!

I need help. For years my guns have sat happily in a cheap stack-on gun locker and never got so much as a speck of rust... However, I've decided to go back to school finish my bachelors so that I might go to medical school, which has unfortunately necessitated my moving in with the in-laws. After a ...

Re: tooth pains

I feel for you. I just got 5 soda-induced cavities filled... the double-dose of Lidocaine I got worked on the left side, but not on the right. The dentist refused to give me an additional dose, so I had three cavities filled while feeling EVERYTHING. Never again.

I second (or third) The Beretta 21a (bobcat)... I love mine, and the tip-up barrel is a nice touch...

I wonder what would do more damage... Firing the gun, or releasing the spring loaded barrel to fling the entire cartridge at someone's head..... :?: :D

The result is always death.

The process is avoiding death as long as possible.

I'm a process-centric kind of guy.

Re: Fallout 3

I keep running into unique weapons! They generally have a "normal" counterpart that you can use to repair them. So far I have the Xuanlong Assault Rifle, Sydney's SMG and the Lincoln Repeater. The lincoln repeater takes the cake though... I'm Level 13 and haven't done any story missions besides "fol...

Re: Fallout 3

I just got "Lincoln's Repeater." It's a .44 magnum lever action that is like the Hunting Rifle on steroids!
It's a one of a kind item, but you can repair it using regular hunting rifles.

It's now my MBR. Takes out most supermutant brutes in 2-3 shots!

Nothing I want to sell you, but I would either get a Polish P-64 (Essentially a take on the PPK) which you can often find under $150, or splurge and buy a Bersa Thunder .380 NIB for around $200. :D

Re: Whats everyone's opinion on the water pouches?

Those pouches take up more room than you might think... I keep a couple in my BOB and a couple in my FAK, but the bulk and wasted space created by the pouches was more than I expected.

I like keeping Fiji water in my BOB, as the rectangular bottle makes for less wasted space... :D
