My dad's .30-30 ...

This PDF has pricing info. The A4 rifle I linked is listed at $1,135 MSRP, might be lower from a distributor or something.

Well, I finally finished it. :D Added: Chaos S12Wave muzzle brake, Surefire foregrip, ProMag vertical fore-end grip, MD Arms SAW pistol grip (bought from Carolina Shooter Supply), Tromix trigger guard, Cobra Custom fire control group, Chaos gas piston, SureFire magazine. It looks pretty goofy with ...

Re: Help me identify these horrible old revolvers

TheDrifter, what does fire damage look like? Any kind of odd discoloration to the metal (something like what some motorcycles exhaust looks like after some use) or pattern variations where something could have been blocking some of the metal(like the grip scales for instance). Would be hard to tell...

Looks like they were pulled out of a river or something. I'm curious about the missing grips, did there look to be any fire damage?

Re: Looking at a nice rifle

Pics when you get it! As far as x54r still being in production with military, the only one in production is the 7n14 for the Dragunovs, which doesn't get imported. However Wolf has one or two lines of x54r so it's not like the ammo will disappear. You just won't find it at current prices ever again...

Re: Sometimes I cry myself to sleep.

Not if they're not explody, thought, right? If it was just an AP round, you'd just pay the tax on the rifle, right? So like, sabot rounds, basically? That was my understanding of it also. If someone more qualified could answer it would add some positive reassurance to the questionable credibility o...

That looks amazing. The rail and paracord don't actually look out of place either. Does the rail interfere with your hand placement at all?

Once again, just for clarity's sake: It's an upside-down Bergmann/Luger with a Mauser C96 charging handle. This is 19th Century design people. A clever use of 19th century design in a manner that sacrifices small size and simplicity for recoil reduction, (in a manner ALSO already used in a 19th cen...
