Bio-degradable targets

Talking with my uncle recently, and he mentioned that sometimes he uses eggs as targets out where he lives. Biodegradable for one, the animals eat the remains and it doesn't take long for everything else to break down. I often tend to use standard shotgun targets at different ranges so you see a rea...

Does Rossi make a wood stock for their single shot 12 gauges

Last year I went turkey hunting with my brother. I used his single shot Rossi 20 gauge with the wood stock and loved it. I'd like to get a 12 gauge single shot Rossi for myself. There is this model available at the store http://www.rossiusa.com/product-details.cfm?id=43" onclick="window.open(this.hr...

Re: Help me identify this ammo, found when cleaning out gun

Much appreciate the help thank you. I own a .308 Marlin Express but these rounds weren't made for a lever-action. My brother has a standard .308 and it looks like these would work fine in his. I'll probably give them to him since he can use them.

Help me identify this ammo, found when cleaning out gun safe

Found this while cleaning out Dad's gun safe as he passed away earlier this year. Here is what I know. 1. Rear stamp states WRA 67 and has a circle with a plus in the middle of it. I believe that means it came from Winchester Repeating Arms factory in 1967, not sure what the circle with the plus ins...

Re: Leaving to the Philippines in 10 days, advice/tips welco

The trip went fine. I'm not with that girl anymore due to her ending up being a scammer, but most of what people have said in here is true. A few tips I learned: Take a good number of small bills. Their money averages about 40 pesos per dollar, so take a number of 20, 50 and 100 bills (peso bills) w...

PAP M70 AK variant by Zastava, any one with experience?

It has been awhile since I posted, but I did a search and didnt find anything relevant so here is my post. Found one of these today at Cabela's and it jumped into my hands and didn't let go. It's the N-PAP version and a very low serial number at that. Anyone have experience with these on what to exp...

Leaving to the Philippines in 10 days, advice/tips welcome

As the title states I will be leaving to the Philippines in 10 days. I am going there to meet a girl I've fallen in love with over the last six months. Has anyone been there before? Any advice would be appreciated. I will be spending the majority of the trip in north central Luzon if that helps, asi...

Concealed Carry at Central Washington State Fair...Allowed??

I've been doing research because my friends want to go to the local fair tomorrow. There is a large sign at each entrance saying no weapons or firearms allowed. My research into state law is leaning the other way. Here is what I've found in my research: (2) Cities, towns, counties, and other municip...

Re: Looking for a new motorcycle UPDATE BIKE PURCHASED!!!!

On a somewhat related note, went to go riding today and the zipper on my $280 AGVSport jacket busted. Took almost 5 minutes to get it off me. Tried every homegrown method I could think of to fix it with no avail. It zips up, but the teeth don't lock. Going to see if a seamstress can remove and sew o...

Bike purchased today!!! Went with a smaller version of one of the suggestions. Suzuki SV650 for $3500, just under KBB value but worth every cent IMHO. http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr88/ALIENRJ187/DSCF6863.jpg http://i472.photobucket.com/albums/rr88/ALIENRJ187/DSCF6864.jpg http://i472.photobuck...

Looking for a new motorcycle UPDATE BIKE PURCHASED!!!!

I have my eye on a few bikes, but quite frankly I don't have the money to cover something like these beauties. I'm using it for mainly city driving with occasional longer cruises (i.e. 100 miles max) so I don't need anything overly powerful. I've had my eye on two that really jump out at me so far, ...

I just finished doing a banner for the ZS fund raiser but I see that someone else has already made an awesome one. Since I've already done it though, I'll just post it anyway in case there's a need for a different size one or something. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v425/Werewolf32/BigBanner2.j...

I also hope to go to Japan someday. I just got Rosetta Stone Japanese a few weeks ago but haven't gotten around to starting it yet. I have new motivation now.

Rocking it old school, music cassette collection

Selling 32 cassette tapes. These are regular cassette tapes, not 8-tracks. I don't have a cassette player anymore. Tested these on a friend's boom box and they all work great. About half come with cases. Also comes with the Case Logic case pictured. $25 shipped anywhere in the U.S. 90's Party Adam S...

Finding just the right scope for me, need help

Doing some research on rifle scopes since I will probably end up getting one. One of the hardest things for me has been finding a reticle I like and finding one that has some sort of rangefinding equivalent so I don't just wild guess where to put the scope when the target is say 300 yards away. This...

Re: TSA new "naked" airport scanners, anybody been through t

When I went to Fresno last month they were screening about every 8th person. They were rubbing a white pad (chemical detection pad) on about every 6th person as well. In Sea-Tac there were no chemical pads being used and they were scanning about every 12th person. That was last month as well.

I tried this with my 642 as well. Mine sparks as well. If I squeeze the trigger slowly it does it about 60% of the time. If I do it quickly it's about 80% of the time. I did some research and found this thread which may answer some questions: http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=74558" onclic...
