Nothing lately but more rumors, theres a teaser website out there now but as its based in Poland people are thinking there is a low probability of it being legit. My hopes are resting on the VGA's in December. short article http://www.denofgeek.com/games/fallout-4/28236/fallout-4-incoming" onclick="...

Re: Non Licensed training

Its a great course. Not like the old combat lifesaver course that you slept through to get promotion points.

If I had to pick a civilian course to go to it would be the Wilderness FA, they really teach you to think outside the box and adapt and overcome.

OK folks....I realized I would like to get trained in some Emergency medical type stuff...without getting any licensed level training so I'm still covered under good samariatin laws... I was thinking start basic FA/CPR, advanced FA, then finding a wilderness FA course as well as "tactical trauma" G...

Re: Puracyn/Vetericyn Wound and Skin Care Spray

That stuff looks like a form of Dakins solution. Just much more stable. We used it overseas when doing wound care out in the populace because you could make a huge amount of wound wash with very little expense. Because it does not matter how well I clean the wound if the patient cant afford to keep ...

Is it that pedal power isnt efficient...... or that direct drive pedel power isnt efficient? I would think that with the proper gearing if would become much more so.

Re: JFK assassination ballistic test

Does it really matter who it was? Would knowing who killed your son matter to you? Im not one for conspiracy theories, but I am one for the truth. If Oswald didnt do it then his name was blackened with out cause and he should be cleared and the perps brought under the iron hand of justice. If he di...

Re: JFK assassination ballistic test

The fellow who wrote "Fry the brain" a history of tactics used by snipers had a whole chapter on the jfk shooting. I honestly thought it should have been left out because the rest of the book was awesome with lots of facts and the Jfk chapter had a very conspiracy flair, with something like up to 4 ...

Had some brutal wind today. At 800 yards I was dialed 2.9 Mil to the left and was still holding left edge of target. For some reason I was scoring more hits at 800 than I was at 400?!?! Shooting .308 168gr Sierra Matchkings. Was windy and cold but had a great day and got some good dope for the rifl...

Re: Firearms Chat: Stipple that, home edition

I've started considering gunfighting a martial art. I figure that will place emphasis on training to me, which I don't do near enough of. As far as self defense goes, I guess I could invite Browning 35 over to whoop my ass every now and then, but I think I need to take more baby steps. Honestly, ha...

Re: All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

Its more to get through the mentality that its a tool. An expensive tool, but a tool none the less. Ive met guys that were so scared of scratching their guns that they were not getting what they should have out of training. Now if it a family heirloom fine, just dont bring it to class. My dad just g...

Re: Tried out neverwet on my car hood.

I got a bit of overspray on one of my windows and can verify that you would not want to put it on anything you want to be able to see through. :) I am kind of struggling to come up with a good use for the stuff except for putting on a bimini and if it degrades in uv that would be out as well. It ma...
