good idea,i have seen containers kitted out with canteens and toilets in them we use them on building sites not sure they woulld be any use if you had no power to heat them because they would be very cold in the winter,you would also need a flat bed truck to get them from a to b and you would need t...

Yes they would be costly to buy and to own for the price of a castle you would probably be cheeper buying a plot of land and design/build your own "modern" fort/castle

The nearest castle to me is Bothwell castle its still in good order but its not exactly out the way,i would imagine if the shit hit the fan i wouldn't be the only person making my way there. i watched ray mears on tv cooking common muscles, he just sat them on a rock and poured hot ash from his fire over them he said it was a tastey way of cooking them.
i think he left them under the hot ashes for 20 mins until they opened ...... just a thought .........

lets just say you get out of the citys and head to the hills in the distance would you be safe to drink the water from runing streams i mean zeds would fall into it and maybe contaminate the water? how would you solve this, would trapping rain water in a tarp be enough to keep a famly or a group hyd...

yes i have heard that it works better with older diesel engines,i do no it works because my girlfriends dad drives a mitsubishi delica and he uses a mixture of diesel and cooking oil and in hot weather uses just the cooking oil and it drives fine
