What kind of bevel does it put on the tooth that is being sharpened? I was always nervous about grinding the curve out of the tooth, but perhaps that doesn't really matter...

It was expensive, but I could never get the chain sharp with a file. With this, I put it on, line it up, crank the handle 5 turns or so, move to the next tooth.
