Re: Stuck in gridlock

So the answer that I almost always give is: don't get into that situation in the first place. You heard undead on the radio, so you know shit just hit the fan and you know traffic will be a bitch. This. Anywhere we drive too, I am usually prepared to some extent, regardless of the vacation type. An...

Leave with everything that I could carry that was mine. Anything I couldn't carry that I couldn't trade for something I need.....Burn. I wouldn't leave any trace of me behind. "Always the hero" is how my wife has referred to me. I ain't getting any younger, or faster, or stronger. I know my limitations and have prepared accordingly. Nothing is written in stone and no one really knows how they're going to react in a given situation. I've had training, had some experience i...

Re: Day by Day Armageddon & Day by Day Armageddon: Beyond Ex

Is there going to be another? If you read the last chapter of the second book, this should be quite obvious. :) The thing I loved the most about these two books were the detailed information about firearms and gear. And I laughed at the "Kilroy was here" stuff. I wonder how many people actually got...

If I heard something outside my house, I wouldn't "go investigate"...I'd call the police. (If I wouldn't go somewhere without a gun, I wouldn't go there just because I do have a gun) +1. I In any case why even carry a gun if all you intend to do in the face of a serious crime is think up excuses to avoid helping? I no longer carry a gun to defend society from the evils of man or fight crime. I carry to protect myself and my loved ones. Should the necessity arise, I imagine my old i...

I'm pretty well covered at work, with approriate gear in my office cabinet for having leave quickly. If I can get to my vehicle, I'm doublely covered. If not, not.

Other than that, there are numerous vending areas and FA stations.

Immediate headshot, and it would be defensible in court as a justified shooting, you feared for your life, and the lives of the people in the bank and near the bank. You have a duty to act (for a LEO anyway) and preserve life. You cannot take the chance that he does not have a bomb, that he might b...
