I'd be fine running them again, I would even give others the chance to craft scenarios (I had a narrative going, but it's been awhile so I'm rusty).
Just without prizes, until we can make sure that the participation will stay strong, I think. Bragging rights, if you will.

Re: Do you have rain barrels?
Actually, this is what I was referring to when I mentioned it, since this was the story plastered all over the news: http://www.snopes.com/politics/crime/rainwater.asp There's also this: http://www.enlight-inc.com/blog/?p=1036 There are very few, if any, states that have restrictions and if they are...

Re: Do you have rain barrels?
Holy moley. I just got the email reply notification for this. Must have been stuck in hell. Anyhow, the attachment on the downspout has a leaf screen and a reservoir channel around the outside, since most of the water that comes down a downspout isn't going directly down the center of the channel, b...

Re: June-August ZS Postal Match
First off, there are no current postals. Second off, the results were never posted because like the two times before it, I didn't get two entries emailed to the postal box. Without at least two entries the postal is a wash and there's no point. I got a little burnt about running them and having mult...

Re: Rain cover for ruck
Ya know, I don't have an EMR, but I do have a Mountainsmith Apex 80 Liter. Since I run a hammock setup, I picked up a Jacks R Better Gear Hammock/Pack Cover. http://www.jacksrbetter.com/shop/jeffs-gear-hammockpack-cover/ It actually works quite well. I picked up the Large in Moss Green but if I had ...

Re: Is a Remotely Piloted Vehicle Part of Your Preps?
I'm given to understand that, on mine, everything is available as pins on the underside of the body, along with the USB port. Is that what you mean? Hopefully I'll find out before we leave work, as it's being delivered to my office. Yeah, the APM was one of the reasons I decided to go ahead and spr...

Re: Is a Remotely Piloted Vehicle Part of Your Preps?
My XJ470 has been collecting dust for the last few weeks. I got busy with work related stuff, in addition to getting up to speed on my ham radio stuff. Nearly all the components are there, and I'm a bit nervous as I get closer to completion, but I also have a couple smaller copters I've been using ...

Re: Is a Remotely Piloted Vehicle Part of Your Preps?
My flight controller is open source and runs arducopter, which is constantly being improved on. FYI APM flight controllers have been "retired" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vbz3vN3JH6Y There is talk of outside development, but there will be no more official updates. 3DR is now concentrating on the...

Re: Is a Remotely Piloted Vehicle Part of Your Preps?
IMO manufacturers could maybe fix that flyoff issue - If "fly -these- waypoints" is set before launch, then you just force the drone to lock onto the GPS signals before it'll launch; That'd solve THAT cause, if it's that. Yes and no. The Flyoffs are mostly caused by what is colloquially known as a ...
