Re: My new shotgun build

Don't get me wrong, the gun looks kinda cool... For a lot of people that is all they want or need in a gun. I can totally see myself getting tangled up in the sling and shooting myself or possibly being found on the floor with it wrapped around my neck. I am kinda bias though as I just gave away my ...

Stuff that is mispronounced

Mispronouncing " Geissele " doesn't bother me at all, since most people have trouble with it, and honestly, it's a goofy name to my ears, tongue and brain. I constantly butcher it as well, even though I've read the proper pronunciation in the past. (It's pronounced "Guys-Lee" for those who don't kn...

Moseen Nagan, I believe is the correct pronunciation as opposed to Mosin Nagant. I still prefer the latter, being that my name is not Vladamir

I thought I saw streaking in the finish. TV doesn't always do justice to wood finishes though. On a related note that was the only episode of the show I've seen. I only caught like 5 minutes of it before I had to turn it off. No offense to JamesCannon, but reality tv makes me wanna rip my goatee out...

All purpose "Help me build my AR" thread.

How's about a good hard case for flying with my AR? Maybe around $150 or so? Any features to look for or tips on where to buy?

I was looking at takedown shotgun cases as I would like something a little bit compact.

What thinks ye, Internet hive mind?

H&R Handi-Rifle

Handi rifles are sweet. My brother just got h&r to switch his .223 for a .22 hornet barrel. Since he started reloading hornet he keeps finding new and exciting guns that are chambered for it.

Once they start to get hot though they pitch bullets all over the place

How come no one uses the "All Purpose" threads anymore? 8-) If I had to guess I'd say its because few people want to wade through 34 pages of shit to find the 3-8 posts that may actually be useful. Honestly, do you actually do that? If it were up to me those "all purpose" threads would be closed or...

Help me pick a gun safe

Something slightly off topic as gun cabinets weren't mentioned. I work at a certain big box tool store. Our advertised special can be popped open in 5 minutes with a screw driver and a hammer. I see people all the time come in for these things. If you cheap out you will be budget shopping for guns, ...
