A little off topic, but as I understand it, don't cell phone jammers work by sending out a signal that interferes with the regular cell signal? So how hard would it be to build a device that could detect when cell freqs are being jammed, and set off an alarm. And couldn't the same thing be done for...

t's basically a series of underground monolithic domes. I'd been considering arranging the domes in an arc around a courtyard; Yeah, the invid hive design is one I am kicking around, especially to allow for different climate zones to grow different seasons at the same time. Is that pipboy kessel? y...

In Canada, airsoft guns are treated as replicas by members of law enforcement, and are immediately confiscated and/or destroyed. Replicas are prohibited. However, airsoft guns are not truly replicas, as replicas are non-firing, and most airsoft guns are capable of inflicting severe injury. Therefor...

The 'WY' is Wyoming right? I'll suggest a general strategy for this cross continent trip in the middle of a zombocalypse. After looking at a map of America, it seems there's too much population density between you and your destination, therefore I decided you should think outside the box. Leave Ame...

Okay... Now I am not one of the disbelievers of global warming... It is real, I can see it in our weather changes here in the lower mainland.. We are now having the worst storms of a 100 years again and again.. but.. what can we do about it exactly? If we spend all this time and money trying to les...

peter and that big overall wearing hillbilly(or he seemed to be) in Undead were both cool. Flyboy was a cool looking zombie too. Dr Hill from reanimator was a good laugh too.

The Donner party was a group of people that tried to cross the western frontier back in the pioneer days. They met some horrible tragedy and I can't remember if any survived or not, but they were stretched to the limits. Uh oh...I may have to move this to "Books" now. :) didn't one of the members o...

it is really cinematic heavy at the start but the game gets good later on. i'd beat if before you take it back. pretty entertaining hack and slash with some good gore and finishers.

the game does kick ass. my fav memory so far(at the mine cart or bosses just after) was discovering the suplex by accident. second to that was blowing up the alien esque guy(liquid nitrogen) with the rocket launcher i was holding on to. one shot and when the dust cleared he was gone.

dear god, its "beyond thunderdome" meets "mrs ghengis khan". Puuhleeez SW At least it doesn't have Pauly Shore in it. i'd check IMDB before you say that. IMO the return of the living dead, Reanimator and Dead and breakfast were really good. but i don't know if we're talking serious Zmovies here

to solve the gas problem learn how to siphon. from your own vehicle of course. than you just have to remember to keep your vehicle topped up. those mopeds get great milage so as long as your not running on fumes in the wagon you should get some good distance on a moped.

electroplating babies would be a bitch. it's like bronzing shoes, you have to dip them in some kind of zinc-sulfate or something like that solution first. and all those chemicals can't be good for the baby.

a mexican civil war does have some benefits for the US though. many cons but border security would be beef up a lot so nothing can spill over into the US.

careful what kind of bags you use and how often. Most black garbage bags have a chemical coating on them that's not too healthy. i think it's used to keep bacteria down or something. i don't know what the coating is i just know it's not healthy to have it in direct contact w/ food & drink i could be...

i live 3 blocks from the river, i could run there in not too long. i could also just fill the bathtub with water and pray. you could get the water to freezing with some frozen goods so you'll have a wider range of oppurtunity, but that putting all your eggs in one basket.

you have a couple of choices if your completely unprepared. A. Cough up the extra cash nobody wants to do that, but it might be necessary. B. Get it from illicit means theft, black market etc. not a reliable means and probably shouldn't be discussed on the forums. C. Observe what people buy and try ...

maybe hand cranked radio to save space/bat req's. also if his boss wants the BOB cash isn't a good idea since it'll get swiped at one point or another. however, the quarters are a good idea.
