Re: bolt cutters and hammer in BOB/GHB? (looking for input)

Such items are fine in the truck ... But too heavy for on foot . So not going in a bob , inch for me .

Seen a few people include em on this forum tho .

To each their own .

Re: Responsibility and Accountability in a SHTF Situation

Thanks for the post raptor . I'm still showing your katrina post to friends and family . I can't imagine any disaster going any less scary ! Stressed out police / national guard / etc and regular citizens react in scary ways . Hopefully I would get me and mine out of the area quickly . Being there a...

Re: before you go to bed - Tonight!!!

Good post OP .

I also recommend packing a bag of clothes/shoes/basics, and giving them to a friend or family member in the area . When crawling thru a house full of smoke my bob is last on the list to grab . I'm getting my loved ones out !

Re: Stoeger Double Defense...

Its over priced true . A lot will buy it then someone on the internet will tell them they have to have something else ...

If it had double triggers I'd start watching for a used one . I like the bottom rail . The top rail and black paint I could do without .

Re: creepy stranger at my door - how did I do?

Besides what has been said ... I would follow up the situation with a quick talk to security . Just see if someone who meets description lives on that floor . Don't know if you caught his name ? Sounds like you live in a pretty secure place . But giving his description to security sounds like a good...

Re: Help me diagnose my truck. (dies mid-traffic)

My 95 dakota did this . Long story short .... A lot of cussing and wasted money .... Ended up being a wire hanging low bouncing of the drive shaft wore thru . Shorted pump out . Mine was about 6 inchs behind tranny . Good luck man .

First apartment I had a cut drywall out behind headboard and put a sentry and my 44 in there . Of course I patched that when I moved out ! I think ?....

A sentry locked inside a real safe or gun vault is much better.

It looks good . +1 to above posts . One thought . Is a heavy hatchet necessary ? A pack saw or machette would be lighter .

Good gear Id trust it .
