Re: Top Shot Reloaded

At this point, I don't care who wins, as long as it's not the douchenozzle "sniper" guy. There is no need to put the word, 'sniper' in quotations--Just because you don't like the guy doesn't mean that he didn't earn and deserve that title. Indeed. Other titles he has earned would include: fool, imb...

Re: Top Shot Reloaded

I only caught the final episode of last season, but it sounds like a neat concept for a show. I liked the fact that the guys seemed to be rooting for each other while still being competitive. I might just have to set the TIVO up for the second season.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I am aware that some guns assembled by Century when put together with improper barrels. That is the only specific instance of shoddy work that I am currently aware.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along shortly.

Merry freaking Christmas everyone. I can understand how some folks thought that the OP might have been a bit overly proud, but he was by no means the only Troll in this thread. I reread the forum rules and saw: 3.) No trolling or flaming. This is obvious, but still needs to be said. We encourage dis...

Re: .22lr pistols

My brother-in-law is new to guns and bought a Sig Mosquito to learn on. He got really frustrated with the thing due to the frequent jamming problems the little shooter had with Remington and Federal bulk ammo. I let him borrow my Ruger MK III and when he gave it back he stated the he should have got...

My brother and I decided to goof around with our Mosins to make them a little more fun for deer hunting. When dealing with the from mounts we found that you need to have a very secure mount in order to avoid losing zero after 3 or 4 rounds. We wound up using Darrell Mounts and they have held zero fo...

Wow, that is a more catastrophic looking wound than when I shot a whitetail deer in the head with a 30-30. Two holes the size of my thumb was all that was evidence of the wound then. Please note, I am not bragging about my 'elite headshot'. I freely admit that I was aiming for the shoulder, was exci...

Re: Ice Storm across Plains and Midwest states

I just got off the phone with my mother who lives near Dexter, MO. They are out of power and phone service in most places and my family is firing up the kerosene heaters to stay warm. Luckily, my family had some fuel set aside prior to the storm, unlike many in the area. Apparently, Cape Girardeau s...

Man, the Sanctuary crew just can't catch a break!

Although, they haven't been eaten yet, and that most likely qualifies as a rather large break in most folks books.

Anyhow, nifty story and thanks for sharing it with everyone.

Moar please. :)
