Re: Looking for advice on socks

Bass Pro Shop Redhead wool socks are my favorites. Best bang for the buck and lifetime warranty but I have yet to wear out my oldest pair at around 6 years. I wear the heavy weight versions all year long, even in the Arizona summer. They keep your feet warmer in winter and dry in the summer. If you'...

I've been using the 25 since it first came out. Absolutely love this light! All the levels are perfect for every need you need to taylor it for. Never too bright or not bright enough. Not only do I use the light camping but also every night on the night stand. The super strong magnet was one of the ...

Don't open your door to people, PERIOD. Unless it's someone you know "AND" they called first to explain their business and reason for coming to your house you should never open the door for anyone. I don't care if you have a castle gate a tank can't get through, just observe their actions through th...

Crank Position Censor is a very common problem and by your description very possible. Also check the fuel regulator by first cranking the motor over, then (starts or not) pull the vacuum line off the regulator. If the vac line has fuel in it then you need a new one, diaphragm is ripped. This is the ...

I've traveled most all of the united states and I can say without a doubt that down town Baltimore is one of the biggest shit holes I've ever seen and the scariest! Funny how the places that don't allow American citizens to arm themselves are the most dangerous.

Re: home defense shotgun question

I personally think it's a bad idea to leave a firearm out while you're away, loaded or not. The last think I want to do is either supply a potential criminal that might break in while go a firearm or worse yet have my own damn gun used on me when I walk in.

What stock you running on your rifle? When I first got mine it had the cheap collapsible stock with the meat tenderizer end plate on it. That think beat the shit out of my shoulder. I quickly put a Magpul CTR with the thick rubber butt plate and it's easy to do 100+rnds pron.

I travel weekly around the US and world for work. I use the MPB from Maxpedition myself and absolutely love it. Re: 9mm AR-15 Carbine - Prefer using Glock Mags - need input

I've been holding out for the same option myself. I was really excited when CMMG came out with a dedicated 9mm lower and discussed on AR-15 the possiblility of doing a Glock mag dedicated lower as well (no mag adapter like normal 9mm AR configs). If nobody comes out with one soon I'll just have to g...

Great Im flying there tomorrow. Don't know where you're flying into, but Sky Harbor was closed. Over 400 flights were cancelled and they expect to be delayed all day tomorrow to make up for it. (According to KTAR 92.3) They just reopened for landings but nothing was going out yet. I hope you're not...

Been carrying T.H.E Wallet for a couple years now and love it. It's been the most durable wallet I've owned EVER! I daily carry mine but also use it for my passport as well. The first unit they shipped was out of spec and my passport didn't fit, their customer service was excellent and sent me a new...

Looks pretty good and similar to " The Road " but with lots of Hollywood thrown in. Still, it's a PAW movie so that beats another "romantic comedy" any day!!!

WOW, same thing is happening in the Phoenix (Arizona) area as well. I didn't believe the wife when she said it was only playing in two theaters in the whole valley. I read the book and I must say, they did an excellent job with each and every scene. Everything looked just as I imagined while reading...

You may have air in your cooling system. If that is the case you'll need to figure out how to bleed it out at the highest point in the system. That seems to be what I've found online, but I wasn't sure. Now to figure out how to bleed it. - Remove the radiator cap/fill point (some vehicles don't act...

Oh, Honda makes some cool mini flares but the JDM ricers love these things and buy them up like crazy so they are pretty hard to come by and about $30 each. Not something you'd want to burn on a whim.

No problem, you'll just have to seal up the end after cutting. If you have an old cap you can just glue that on the cut end, if not you could either duct tape it or put some silicon over the end. Just don't cut the strike end of course

Re: Clipdraw---good option?

I've been using one for a little over two years. It's definitely not for everyone, especially if you're new to carry or just inexperienced at handling a firearm on a daily basis. All the worries about the trigger being exposed are silly. The pistol is in the same condition inside your pants as it is...
