Re: Fallout 4......

Been a while, But I became a water merchant. I set up 5 or 6 industrial water filters at Sanctuary, the island and a few others. I get between 160 and 200 purified water at each settlement. Once I stock up I run to town (or use the shops at the settlements) and unload my stock and make a couple hund...

1911 for concealability and (though i hate this term) "stopping power". Then try and keep a low profile and hightail it to the the border. Realistically, probably die in the desert but hey, got to at least make an effort at life.

Re: Fallout 4......

I did the same thing with Piper at one point, Dogbane. Turns out I had sent her back to Diamond City and she was waiting for me at her newspaper office. Maybe Curie is back at Vault 81 ? I got back into playing Fallout 4 after spending two weeks playing Minecraft and building a massive Viking style...

For manufacturing, i just learned (and probably behind the times) that you can set the vacuum hopper by they settlement work bench and it will suck materials out of the bench and put them on the conveyor belt for your factories to use.

Re: Fallout 4......

Just screwing around - but i managed to lure the Deathclaw (usually the alpha version hangs out near the bus) from the overpass near the Slog to the forged foundry - then a couple of Gunners who hang out on the bridge got involved in the fire fight - was quite entertaining.

Been a while, but I'm on my second playthrough. I dug the Nuka World DLC, wasnt a big fan of the *spoilers* raider options...as I am Shiva, destroyer of worlds to raiders, but the parks were fun. I haven't developed my newest weapons yet, but i'm working on my .50 Sniper, .45 combat rifle, Shotgun (...

Supposed to be an Anthology coming out in the Black Tide Universe eventually. But now Ringo is writing in the MHI universe and it's got, in the word of Neo, "guns lots of guns".

Re: ramen- not the emergency food of choice

I eat ramen fairly regularly, but use it as a base and add veggies, meat, and other goodies. As an emergency food, I don't plan on ramen. It is too bulky for too little nutrition. There are tons of other foods that in an emergency make a better food source. That are more compact, have denser amount...

Re: ramen- not the emergency food of choice

As many have said, using them for a filler isn't the worst idea in the world. Round it out w/ some canned veggies and meats and you've got the makings of a semi-decent meal. Wouldn't want to live off of it forever but short/medium term is doable.

Late to this thread, but huge Ringo fan. Even got "Red Shirted" in Vorpal Blade.

IMO, even if you violently disagree with his politics you can still probably enjoy the story :D

Re: Breaking News: Mass shooting at CT Elementary School

I've hesitated to chime in on this event, as it's hit fairly close to home (metaphorically speaking), as my wife is a teacher. One thing we've discussed is that most while most schools have a plan for these kind of situations, those plans are pretty much "Run, Hide and Hope". When you get right down...
