Re: MilCopp 2012 "pistol centered Carbine II" class, June 9-

I don't know if it is necessary to post here, but I'm definitely not attending. Back when this was a May event I was stoked. June is chaotic to begin with, and the class weekend is the absolute worst of the month. Three different events F-S-S. This class looks great and really wish I could attend, b...

June 9th and 10th? OhioMe: Now don't you fucking realize man that if my wife finds me out of town June 8-10th, I'm gonna get divorced, all right. No marriage counselor, no trial separation. I'm gonna get fuckin' divorced. Okay? And I don't wanna get fuckin' divorced. Now then, you know, I mean, I wa...

Re: MilCopp Spring 2012 class discussion

Time and money say I probably won't be able to attend a Friday class. I'm already budgeting for tuition and transportation. IDK yet if I'd be flying in, carpooling, bus, or driving in myself so an additional class day isn't too feasible. On the bright side I have a pistol I and carbine I class sched...

Re: MilCopp Spring 2012 class discussion

So this class might be in one state or another one, or maybe another reality. And it might be a two day re-start, or a building on the previous classes, or a repeat of the last two classes, or counting to potato. It might be in May, or June, but mostly likely in 2012-ish. Just making sure I got the ...

Re: SIG 556 Issue -- brass being pulled apart on ejection ..

Yeah, ejector/extractor whateverthefuck. Sig makes powerful one for the 556, too much maybe.

I'll go away again and just post in the 'we're dicking around and grabassing about getting another Milcopp class" thread.

Re: SIG 556 Issue -- brass being pulled apart on ejection ..

I used to own a Sig 556. Aside from the possible chamber issues mentioned above, Sig556s feature a rather 'robust' extraction. My 556 would chuck brass 10-15 yards away from the rifle. I went to mostly using steel cased ammo because the dent that the 556 left in the brass cartridges made them imposs...

Two movie moments come to mind whilst I wait for details on this: On attending... It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. On waiting for final details... Re: MilCopp Spring 2012 class discussion

The 5/11-12 date looks feasible here. Do we have a tuition + range fee estimate yet? Not taking things like hotel/carpool/etc. into account.

Re: MilCopp Spring 2012 class discussion

How close is this idea to fruition? Is this a real 'maybe' or a 'maybe maybe'.

I desperately need a vacation from kid duty, so this sounds great. I guess this is my 'tag for interest' post.

Re: MilCopp Fall 2011 class discussion

I am interested depending on cost and date(s). Some combo of alumni/pistol would be my first choice. Money is tight, but class cost is doable. I don't know if ammo for a 2 day 1200 round class hotel+ gas + costs is easily doable. I have two expenses that I need save/sell gun for cash toward. If our ...

Re: Midwest Milcopp 2011. May 21-22

Unfortunately Jeriah should move me to the red column. I'm not currently in decent enough physical shape to effectively run the course (like I was even close last time) and financially, times are really tight. If either or both situations change I hope a spot might still be open. The September class...

Drawing retarded pics and calling someones kid a stripper is one thing. I think showing up with an M92 would be a little over the line. The next day sounds like a blast, 20 of you with hangovers all carrying loaded rifles... headaches, dehydration, and one porta-potty bathroom.

Milcopp 9-18/19 Carbine Class After Action Report Thread

AAR of Milcopp 9-18/19 ZS Class I can't hope to touch the great AAR on an earlier Milcopp class by Macabee Sicarius, ZS Link , but here's a go. As to the 9-18/19 class... Fellow ZS'ers! I was out of town for business and not sure I would make it back in time or not. But since I have, I'm going to provide dinner on Sunday for everybody. .... See you on Sunday. It will be great to see you again, and I'm looking forward to the excellent, as usual, food. Huzzah! :D
