WASR-10 Light Primer Strike
I did some searching on this one and had trouble finding the exact issue I'm having. When shooting my WASR-10, when I work the bolt to chamber, weapon works fine. After discharge, new round is fed in and I get a light primer strike. Primer barely has an indention in it. I have to work the bolt again ...

Re: Convert-a-ball
Just another data point: I bought a convert-a-ball set (the one with three balls) about five years ago and have been very pleased with it. I remove the ballmount from the receiver when I'm not using it and it looks nearly as good now as it did when I bought it, but yeah, a little bit of grease on t...

OK, that thing is impressive. I don't know how well it would work but damn, just that amount of metal makes me happy.KJ4VOV wrote: There's always this: http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/ ... 756_245756

Re: Convert-a-ball
Well hell its old home week now had shadowbane pop back now B&G is back. On my trucks i have always used solid ball mounts.Normaly i just run a 2 inch because everything i tow is a 2 inch. Re: Convert-a-ball
Nice Red, thanks for the photos. KJ, no, I don't specifically need it. I can probably do most anything with a 2" ball. Originally I was thinking of something along the lines of http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200365300_200365300" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but I nee...

Re: Convert-a-ball
Those are awesome. I have a couple sets of those in one truck, and a couple sets of the masterlock ones in another. Make sure you keep the main pin greased, these things will fuse together with rust if left alone long enough. Do you think the 10,000 tow weight is accurate? I'm figuring the weak poi...

Beerandguns, Are you serious? "Time, well, probably going to be plenty of that. Mind numbingly amounts of nothing to do. Re: do you mow your lawn in a paw?
I use a Fiskars Reel Mower and would continue to do so in a PAW if time/safety permitted. Safety would be my concern. Yard work can be a pain in the ass enough by itself without adding in the joy of someone shooting you. Time, well, probably going to be plenty of that. Mind numbingly amounts of not...

If you would what type of preps have you set aside for it? extra gas or a hand push lawn mower? Since I'll be bugging in....

Re: Apocalypse, PA
According to the TV listings, the show is not being shown on Tuesday night. So, was this just a test run to see if there wil be an audience, or is there another reason for the delay? :? I did some looking around about the show and the first two were the test to see if the audience is there. Comment...

Re: "Walking Dead" New Cable Series
"Vatos" as caregivers in the ZPAW....well... They officially lost me. I really hated that too. I mean, this show's got six episodes to tell it's story (when they wrote it they didn't know whether it was getting renewed), and they're wasting time on things like this? Imagine how much tighter this ep...

Re: Differential Questions
The first things to do is find out what rear end you have in it now. Is it limited slip or ? There are E-lockers, and air-lockers available that you can engage when needed with a dash mounted switch. You can also install rear ends that can go from open, which is best on the road, to limited slip wh...

Differential Questions
I did a search and didn't find anything specific to what I was looking for so I'm posting a new topic. I recently traded out my vehicle for a 2WD 1999 Sierra 1500. The main purpose of the truck is to drive a daily commute of 12 miles round trip. Outside of that, I might be looking to pull a 3,000 lb...

Re: Yeast Qs
My only experience with it is making bread so for any other applications I have no idea but... Refrigeration after opening is supposed to give you about 4 months. Frozen gives you around 6 months. It could be longer but I don't risk it since remaking the bread when the yeast fails is a pain. Unopene...

Re: Another Near Miss Asteroid Pass
If there is ever a PAW, I've thought a good possibility was that it could be caused by something coming at us from space. It's apparently happened before... The largest H-bomb ever exploded was equivalent to 50 megatons TNT (it was a Russian a 100MT design tested at half yield). The crater above wa...
