Re: Any interest in fixing this 'inactive' thing?

I was just talking with a friend about reinstating the chapter and getting things going again. We had a nice group for a while. Everyone gets busy and it's hard to keep things going with such a small group to begin with. I'm still pondering the plausibility. It could definitely happen if we put some...

That's what happens when you send Frank on a beer run. You get a case of canned piss! :D That's when you have to resort to the Sailer.

That's a lot more like it... I'm familiar with 440c, but not CPM S30V... what are the advantages/difference of the CPM S30V? CPM S30V is a newer stainless steel made specifically for knives. It has many advantages over the typical 440c blade. Here are a few links to explain it in more detail... htt...

The bag itself is pretty cheap - $16.95. Definitely something to pick up.

Really nice set up. I really like those M3 medic bags. I'm gonna pick one up for my vehicle FAK too. Perfect size. Nice job, Erik.

The habitat build was a great success. We had the meeting at Franks on Saturday and we discussed the camping trip. The trip is planned for Oct. 12th-14th at Devil's Den. The cost is $10 per person. Please send me a PM if you can go so we can plan accordingly. I have to reserve the sites this week an...

ZS Tire Cover - Fleet #0065

Well, I finally got around to getting my fleet number on my car. I had been thinking of a good way to display it when I thought the spare tire cover of my '98 Isuzu Rodeo would be the perfect place. I first measured the diameter of the cover and transcribed it onto a piece of thin poster board. I th...

For a headlamp, I recommend Petzl and Black Diamond. I use a Petzl Myolite 3 (a big upgrade over the Myolite which only had the main Xenon bulb). It has a big halogen for long distance and a smaller set of LED lights for use in closer proximity. The LEDs are great for working around the camp at nigh...

I'm thinking Devil's Den as of now, mostly because it is between FYV and FSM. Also, it will be a nice laid back camping trip to see where everyone is in terms of comfort. Devil's Den also has hike in camp sites, so we aren't limited to the main car camping spots they have. I will be organizing it wi...
